Oman and Hong Kong earned their spots in this Division 1 event by reaching the finals of the Division 2 tournament held earlier in 2024 .

The winner of this qualifier will join 15 other teams in the 2026 ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup. Five regional qualifiers, including this Asia Qualifier, will determine the final five spots in the 16-team tournament. The other 11 teams have secured automatic qualification based on their performance in the previous edition or as host nations.
